Survey &
Assessments
(Survey)
Create custom surveys in minutes. Participants can respond to multiple question types, and immediately view the cumulative group results.

Choose from five answer types: Likert scale, definable radio buttons or pull-downs, multiple checkbox, force rank and open text. Distribution of votes is shown graphically, and scales show the averaged group score and deviation. Filter data by demographic questions, and export for analysis.

Individual and group scores can be created within a section for 360° and other types of evaluations. Text can be auto-signed or anonymous.

Surveys can be created and distributed quickly, with a link included in an email from your e-mail client or from GroupMind Express GroupMail.

Results are available instantaneously showing histograms, statistics, and comment sets all in one place.

Group convergence starts when respondents reflect on and discuss the range of thought made visible.

Automates creation of custom low cost multiple view assessments.

 Brainstorm
 (IdeaSet)
A group generates a series of ideas, and views the combined group results, which can be moved to other GroupMind tools with just one click.

Ideas can be auto-signed or anonymous and can be assigned to a series of bins, to structure answers within multiple themes.

Gather a wide range of ideas for an issue and then prioritize them.

Participants 'see' the group mind as they generate ideas, resulting in a wider range of additional thought or solutions being created.

Discussion Threaded comments and indented replies to 4 levels. Optional edit tags allow members to edit and move material within the page.

Comments can be date stamped and/or auto signed. Index allows jumping to a specific topic. New tags show material added since last read of the page.

Provides structured or free-form comment space.

Shows flow of thought on one page. Can be used for various purposes like meeting notes, comments on paragraphs of a document, pre-themed data input, etc.

 Categorization
 (Sort)
Transfer and assign ideas from IdeaSet into categories, and display them to participants by resulting themes.

Items can be found by multiple word string searches. Category assignment can be changed and new categories added while working the list.

Easily group ideas into categories for further understanding and exploration of themes.

Auto-search helps identify issue patterns, which are not easily visible from reading a lot of input.

 Weighted Voting
 (CheckVote)
Participants allocate checks to a list of items, with each item accepting multiple checks. You can set the maximum checks per item and the maximum checks per participant.

The GroupMind page displays the group result, in order of checks assigned. With one click, input from IdeaSet can easily be transferred into CheckVote.

Provides a quick snap shot of key issues from a long list. Helps clarify what needs further discussion and focuses everyone on shared interests.

Group results show whether a result is just an average of many different positions, or a solid agreement about priorities.

 Force rank
 (TopRank)
Participants arrange an item list into their priority order. Displays the averaged group results in order of ranking. Accepts one click transfer from IdeaSet.

The GroupMind page presents graphs and statistics showing how the group ranked issues

Provides quick visual prioritization of a list of items and can quickly show which items a group has energy for.

 Criteria vote
 (Multi Scales)
